Finally, the tariff guidelines for Wind power generation has been unveiled by the CERS (Central Electricity Regulatory Commission). It has proposed a capital cost of Rs. 5.75 crore per MW for wind energy projects. This proposed capital cost guidelines are part of the regulations the commission released recently and will be used to determine tariff of renewable energy for the next five years (2012-17).
